The Beginner Japanese Course (N5 & N4) is designed for individuals who have little or no prior knowledge of the Japanese language. This course will lay a solid foundation for your Japanese language journey, starting from the very basics and gradually building your skills.

Course Overview:

The N5 & N4 levels focus on introducing essential elements of the Japanese language, including basic vocabulary, grammar, and kanji characters. As a beginner, you will learn to communicate in simple, everyday situations, making it perfect for travelers, students planning to study in Japan, or anyone interested in the language for personal growth.

Course Details:

  • Vocabulary & Grammar:
    You will start by learning common words and phrases used in daily conversations. We focus on practical vocabulary that is immediately useful, covering topics like greetings, introducing yourself, shopping, dining, and navigating public transport. You’ll also learn basic sentence structures and grammar points, including verb conjugations, particles, and adjectives, which will enable you to construct simple sentences.

  • Kanji (Basic Characters):
    At this stage, you will be introduced to kanji, the logographic characters used in Japanese writing. You will start with a manageable number of kanji characters (about 100 to 200), focusing on recognizing and writing them. By the end of the course, you will be comfortable reading basic texts that include both hiragana and kanji.

  • Speaking & Listening:
    The course places a strong emphasis on speaking and listening skills, ensuring that you can carry on simple conversations with native speakers. You’ll practice common expressions, greetings, and questions, building your confidence in everyday situations. Listening exercises will help you get used to the rhythm and tone of the language.

  • Reading & Writing:
    In addition to speaking, you will learn to read and write in hiragana and katakana, the two phonetic alphabets of Japanese. You’ll also practice writing basic kanji characters. Through reading simple texts and writing exercises, you’ll improve your ability to understand written Japanese.
